The electronic prescribing service is here!
A free, secure NHS service. Instead of printing and signing paper prescriptions, staff at the surgery will send them electronically directly to the pharmacy of your choice.
It's easier for the patient. Your prescription no longer needs to be collected form the surgery and taken to your pharmacy. It will be sent electronically, saving time. It is a safe and secure process. Your prescription cannot get lost, as we are always able to track it on our system in real time.
If you are not already signed up to this service please speak to a staff member to confirm you would like to use electronic prescribing and they will arrange this for you. You do not need to do anything and your ordering process will not change. You can still order either through your local pharmacy, by using the NHS Wales app or by bringing your repeat slip into the surgery.

Please do not come to the practice if you are experiencing any COVID symptoms. Telephone the surgery and we will offer advice. You will be seen if deemed necessary by a clinician.

We operate book on the day appointments between 8am and 10am Monday to Friday. These appointments can be telephone or face to face consultations, these are allocated appropriately depending on symptoms during the booking process.

Patients are required to telephone the surgery before 10am in order to be directed to the most appropriate care provider. Please note that between 8-8.30am the phone lines are particularly busy and you may need to ring a number of times during this period before being connected to a receptionist - please be patient.

We also offer routine appointments that can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance. Please call after morning surgery for these to avoid longer wait times on the phone.

The Practice takes it very seriously if a member of staff or one of the doctors or nursing team is treated in an abusive or violent way.

The Practice supports the government's 'Zero Tolerance' campaign for Health Service Staff. This states that GPs and their staff have a right to care for others without fear of being attacked or abused. To successfully provide these services a mutual respect between all the staff and patients has to be in place. All our staff aim to be polite, helpful, and sensitive to all patients’ individual needs and circumstances. They would respectfully remind patients that very often staff could be confronted with a multitude of varying and sometimes difficult tasks and situations, all at the same time. The staff understand that ill patients do not always act in a reasonable manner and will take this into consideration when trying to deal with a misunderstanding or complaint.

However, aggressive behaviour, be it violent or abusive, will not be tolerated and may result in you being removed from the Practice list and, in extreme cases, the Police being contacted.
